Iron Man
Wow. I knew this flick was going to be good. The second that Robert Downey jr. was cast as Tony Stark I was hooked. I mean who better to play an alcoholic rich womanizing playboy than a former alcoholic womanizing playboy

The trailers that I saw really just enhanced my want to see this movie. So last night Amanda, Maedbh and I went to the brand new AMC theaters that just opened up here and caught the flick. The theatre btw sucks mondo ass. I guess we've become spoiled at having these big megaplexes with tonnes of selection for food and drink and seeing as this place is only a third complete, we were relegated to having plain old popcorn and nachos

but I digress, the movie:
A-FUCKING-MAZING!I'm impressed on how true to the actual comic they remained. Unlike every other comic adaptation that's hit the screen before it, with the exception of Christopher Reeves' Superman, creative liberties have been taken, I'm looking at you Sam Raimi and your stupid biological webshooters. Even Batman Begins, while an incredible film, deviated far from the comics. Not Iron Man. Ok yes his injury took place in Afghanistan instead of Vietnam, and Jarvis isn't a real butler; but that's understandable, the need to update for this day and age. But everything else from the look of his armour to how he perceives things outside of the armour. I love the nods to the characters history and supporting cast, IE the silver "War Machine" suit in the background..and Sam Jackson's little guest spot...fricking awesome..(spoiler warning now..) His reference to the Avengers was brilliant..and with Marvel calling a press conference for Monday to announce their next big movie project one can only assume that it's going to be for an Avengers film since Thor and Ant Man are already in pre-production and the Hulk is coming out shortly (which is looking better than the Ang Lee travesty). I for one can't wait for the sequels and you fricking know there's going to be a few...so yeah go see Iron Man

Uhm ok then..tales from AR land

[12:09:20 PM] Ikue says: once you don't get it in your eye then

[12:09:57 PM] Ghouldaddy says: I think you'd have to be pretty damn pent up to get it in your own eye
[12:11:16 PM] Ikue says: >.> if you say so... I've never had problems in that area.
[12:12:35 PM] Ghouldaddy says: so what you're saying then is that you like cumming in your own eyes? is that it? am I getting that right?
[12:12:50 PM] Ghouldaddy says: this is sooo going into a journal btw

I still don't quite understand how they're going to do an Antman movie. I'm not sure he's ever even had his own mini series or anything.
